BAD BONES were formed in 2007 under the influence of bands like Whitesnake, Van Halen, ZZTop, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Moorhead and Mountain. The band started as a three pieces band including Steve (bass) Lele (drums) and Meku (guitar/vocals) the band released the first album "Small Town Brawlers" (Red Pony) in 2008 then they moved to LA where they stayed until 2009, during those first year the band come and go fro USA to Europe playing famous venues like Whisky a Go Go, the Paladino's, The Derby and Viper Room in LA, invited at Hollywood Rock Convention 2008, in Europe Bad Bones supported Hardcore Superstar, Crucified Barbara, Entombed, Strana Officina, playing in festivals like Italian Gods of Metal (2010)

In 2010 the band release their second album "A Family Affair" (Nadir Records) and come back to Italy and toured in Europe through Germany Switzerland France and Czech Rep. at the end of the year True Metal magazine awarded the "Bones" as the best Hard Rock band.

In 2011 the band decide to change slightly their sound asking Max  to join the band as lead singer in 2012  was released " Snakes and Bones" (Bagana rec.) the 3rd album of the band, they toured USA again, headlining the Whisky a Go Go for the first time and Europe, across Switzerland Germany and finally Latvia. In 2013 Sergio joined the band to replace the former guitarist Meku and the label decide to print a deluxe edition of the album including 3 bonus tracks. the band kept on playing in Europe until fall of 2015 when they start the preproduction of their long awaited 4th album "Demolition Derby", in march 2016  they reached producer Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio in San Marino and then in Genoa with Roberto Tiranti to complete the vocal recordings at Gianlupo’s Liar and here we are…the story goes on…with a blast of Hard Rock (n' roll).

Steve Balocco: played 4 tours with Iron Maiden drummer Nicko Mc Brain between 2002 and 2005

he was former member of well known power metal band  White Skull.

Sergio Aschieris: recorded the album "The Rocker - Blood Strength and Soul“ with  AC/DC-Dio drummer Simon Wright.
